About Us:

Aulenbach Wines began as a home based hobby by Charles Aulenbach in 2000. That year our little peach tree in our backyard produced so many peaches we could not eat them fast enough. So, why not make wine! After entering in local fairs and winning Best of Show awards, Charles decided his hobby could be something more.

Once the business started to pick up, we bought some land and built a house in historic Oley Township, Berks County Pennsylvania. The winery is operated from our home. We also started growing many varieties of grapes on our property. We make our wine with locally grown fruits and grapes which enhances the unique flavor of each delicious sip.

Specializing in fruit wines and Pennsylvania grapes, we built the business to make over 12 varieties of wine including some unique blends. Our first blended wine was Crescent Red, a combination of Chambourcin grapes and cherries. We named it after the street of our former address. We also created a popular new blend we call Razzling, a combination of riesling and raspberries. The newest additions to the wine list are the port style wines.
