Our family history and an “old world†feel are evident in every direction at Becker Vineyards. As you make your way down Becker Farms Road, alongside our estate Syrah you arrive at the Lavender Haus and Tasting Room and Winery. Adjacent to the winery is a log homestead cabin circa 1890 and is the original homestead. Its renovation was completed in 1997 and for years served as a charming Bed and Breakfast.  It is no longer in operation as a B&B but reserved for special guests of the winery and used in conjunction with wedding parties and special celebrations. The welcoming Hearth just inside the tasting room door crackles and pops with warmth on chilly days. In the Texas summer months The Verandah runs the full length of the winery and host an outdoor bar and beautiful view of the lavender fields. Have a glass and take a moment to rest in full view of the antique windmill, homestead tank and artichoke test plot. The late Former First Lady- Lady Bird Johnson- famous for her National Wildflower projects, loved our fields of native wildflowers growing on the property (and loved our Chardonnay!). Peach orchards and grass hay production sourround the estate as well.Â
This winery is BEAUTIFUL. It was super busy because it was a holiday weekend, but we still had a great time. Madison did a wonderful job explaining the wine and making us feel comfortable. The $20 is with it for the wine tasting AND the take home glass. Will definitely be going back next time we are in town.
Joined the wine club today! Coach/Randy is so awesome! We toured with him and loved his fun knowledgeable personality. The lavendar and the atmosphere is fantastic. Wine is superb!
Becker's has a beautiful "campus" to sip and enjoy wine at. However, the tasting leaves much to be desired. At $20 (most other wineries are $15-$18) it's a little steep for 6 tastings. Their portfolio is OK, but don't expect to be blown away by anything. I recommend using this as your last stop, skip the tasting, grab a glass of the Res Viognier, and enjoy the view.
The vineyard is absolutely beautiful! Well-kept and warm and welcoming! The wine tasting is worth the $20 price as the wine varietals are all unique and impressive. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable! Take the vineyard tour while you're there. They have live music on the weekends.

Biggest rip off! There are so many other and better vineyards in the area you must try. But Becker is a rip off. We went with a group - paid $20.00 per person for the wine tasting of 6 tiny samples. Apparently the Becker family don't trust their employees to pour freely. Each bottle we sampled had a pourer attached to the bottled that stops pouring after a certain amount is poured into the glass. Not only was the amount poured small but the over-rated wine was bad. Not one single wine we tasted was worth the price. If you don't mind paying a high price for a bad wine this is definitely the place to waste your time.
