Bijou Creek Winery was born out of my love for fine wine. Every batch is handcrafted so premium wine grapes sourced from prime vineyards can be made into wines that exemplify the best of each variety.
The seeds for my winemaking passion were planted when I first toured the 'Wine Country' of the Palisade area of Colorado and experiencing the intense flavor profile of wine produced from high altitude grapes.
So I began experimenting with making wine from different fruits and then also from kit wines. I then began making wine from fresh grapes obtained from vineyards in the Grand Valley of Colorado. Also, I planted some winter hardy grape varieties on my property in Fort Morgan. This hobby soon turned into Bijou Creek Winery in 2006 while I was still working a full time job. I never opened a tasting room at the Fort Morgan location since we were located in a rural location away from any major roads. In 2014 I decided to relocate to where I am originally from, Greeley, Co.
