Blackhawk Winery

Open Year Round

About Us:

Blackhawk Winery was established in 2011 as a result of an epiphany of "why not open a winery?" We realized we had a 5-acre field being leased out as a soybean field that could produce a reasonable amount of grapes to support a small winery. We also had a large pole barn that we could partition off and renovate a 2500 sq ft area for wine production and a tasting bar. Plus, there is the wide array of critters running around to make it interesting and memorable for potential visitors!

Excellent...beautiful farm and vineyard, family friendly, superior wine from grapes harvested on site, genuinely kind and passionate owners who support their community, the arts and live music. Great experience and highly recommend for everyone. Best part of our time in Indiana. Definitely planning a return trip😊.

First visit to Black Hawk Winery and enjoyed it! Did the wine tasting and not being much of a wine drinker settled on the Litte Brother Red. My sister and I went to hear Bomar & Ritter perform. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There are also interesting farm animals on site. Give it a swirl...
