Cape Cod Winery

The Orlandella Family comes from the small village of San Sossio Baronia, Italy where it has long been known for its fertile soils, quality fruit production and where the people are known for their passion and craft of winemaking. To continue the tradition locally, the Orlandella's purchased the Cape Cod Winery in 2013.

The winery was originally founded in 1994 by the Lazzari Family to create premium wines for residents and visitors to enjoy with the finest seafood and gourmet cuisine available on Cape Cod. In 2013, the winery was relocated to its current address at Ox Bow Road. The land and farmhouse date back to the 1800's and was once a prosperous farm which produced a variety of fruits and vegetables,  even grapevines at one point!

Our grapevines are planted on a splendid site with sandy gravel soil and gentle slops which are ideal for wine grape growing and parallel the great vineyards of southern France and Italy. The European wine grape varieties we have chosen are particularly suited to the special terroir of the Cape. The extraordinary wines produced from these fruits reflect the very special character of the Cape Cod sun, soil and climate that may be savored in each sip.

The tasting was $10 for a flight of 5 wines plus one bonus taste. After three pours they came in and asked for our last taste what we would like. After a bit of a discussion they came up with the last three tastes but we ended up with the same wines again. The wine wasn’t bad but their knowledge of wine and sequencing for tasting leaves a lot to be desired. Save your time. Not worth the stop. They lack a lot in terms of a winery experience. The ladies doing the pouring were more like bartenders than knowledgeable wine folks.

Amazing winery! $10 to taste 5 wines and you get to keep the glass. We went for a bachelorette party and it was perfect. The bride’s tasting was also free. The owner and his son are both so nice and their set-up is super cute. The wines are also very tasty, I recommend buying a bottle of the cranberry for home. I would give them more stars if I could. Thanks for the amazing experience!

Nice place for an excursion on a rainy day. The wine tasting was nice. It was raining the day we went. The tasting was set up in a heated tent. We tasted 5 wines. All were young varietals but were tasty for the price. You leave with a souvenir tasting glass.

The wine was delicious and Joe was the best. It was super busy and he was the only one there doing the tastings but he was just wonderful! Very cute little winery, take home a bottle of the Cranberry Blush you won’t regret it!

a very new and possible upcoming winery right in the heart of East Falmouth, Mass. Fairly small but you get 5 tastings of different wines for $10.00. A little steep but the wines we tasted we're well accepted. If you get a chance to enjoy and support this winery, I suggest you takebthat chance.
