Christian Herschler Historic District Winery & Stagecoach Stop
503 6th and Green Street
319-835-9432

Hours: Year Round

Our winery is in the basement of a 1840's home. The building once was a stagecoach stop as well as a winery. Since then, Mike and Lori Jarvis have restored the home and reopened the winery, trying to keep everything to the pre-Civil War era.

You enter the basement and get a short tour of the winery and hear some of the history of the building. Free samples of the many different and unique wines follow the tour (limited supply of wine). If you wish to purchase a bottle, it is $14. And if you wish to learn more about the house, you can go on a tour of the upstairs and listen to the deep history for $5 per person.
