At Delfino Vineyards, we are blessed by a steep and rocky hillside which tilts west and is warmed by the setting sun. Â Our varietals seem to relish the struggle they go through to produce fruit of exceptional quality for wine.
When we came to Oregon in 2001, our goal was to make our land produce something for us and the community and to make that product be of the best possible quality. Â We discovered that high quality wine grapes and award winning wines were already being produced in Oregon and, in particular, here in Umpqua Valley. Â So we began planting a vineyard - and prayed a lot (thanks for the intercessory prayers of our friends, too, especially our Capuchin Franciscan brothers).
