DuMOL was founded by three friends in 1996 as a hobby. Shortly after, in 1999, I was recruited as winemaker. Today, some eighteen vintages later, DuMOL is part of who I am, and it is ingrained in the DNA of the tight family that works to build the winery’s legacy vintage by vintage. Our passion is working in the vineyards and expressing their unique characteristics in elegant wines of balance and detail. We are vigilant in our pursuit and are proud of the many long term loyal customers we have who enjoy our product and whom we get to meet each year here at the winery or at events throughout the country.
Our 25 acre sustainably farmed Estate Vineyard is located on an undulating east-facing slope of one of the appellation's famous ridgelines. From this classic site and in tandem with some of our coastal area's finest growers, we craft wines that fully capture the aromatics, flavors and textures that exemplify their vineyard sites and varietals character in the purest and most precise form.
Since our inception, we have allocated all our wines because they simply sell out months prior to their individual spring and fall release dates. Therefore, if you wish to ensure a personal allocation/offering for each of our release offerings, we would suggest and welcome you to become a DuMOL pre-release member.
