Sometimes life throws you a curveball and you must pivot quickly. But as they say: when one door closes another door opens. For us (Lisa & Darius Miller) opened the doors of Koi Zen Cellars in April 2015 fulfilling our long-time dream of having a winery. This was a huge step, a scary step, but opening the winery was something that burned within us to the point where we knew that we had to do it.
Since neither of us can grow anything, we chose to open an Urban Winery located in a business park. Because we are not tied to the land, we can source the highest quality fruit from across the state.
