The classes she took lead her to a very important night. Â That evening she went to an after hour meet and greet with speaker Wes Hagen. Â Â She knew right away that she needed him to teach her the hands on part of making Pinot Noir. Â Â She introduce herself and asked if he would mentor her.. Â He said yes. Â She was in the winery by 8 AM the next morning! Â
Her first vintage went into barrel in 2010.  Clos Pepe Vineyard..single designate vineyard.    Small as it was, it is a great vintage.   Her patience is to keep her wine in barrel till the wine sings.   First vintage was in barrel for 18 months. Her vintages have grown in production each year.    Her love, desire to produce single vineyard designate of Pinot Noir in small lots  has grown too.  She also produces Pinot Nior from Sta. Rita Hills as well as a Pinot Blanc and a Tempranillo.Â
