Our wines are hand crafted by Michael Lundeen. Serendipity led Michael into the wine industry in 2001 and since then he has proudly worked on the winemaking teams of venerable Willamette Valley Pinot Noir producers Willakenzie, Domaine Serene, Belle Pente, Illahe, and Walnut City Wineworks.Â
In 2005, Michael traveled to Italy to produce world class Barolo and Barbaresco with his good friend Mario Andrion at Castello di Verduno. Michael brought home many vineyard and wine lessons and embarked on his greatest adventure to date, launching his own wine label. Thus were born Genius Loci, exclusively a boutique single-vineyard label, and Lundeen, your value-priced source of Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.
