Established in 2002 by Paul and Betty Maugle, Maugle Sierra Vineyards is dedicated to producing premium Connecticut and New England Grown wines. Hand-crafted to enhance flavours Maugle Sierra wines from premium New England and Estate Connecticut grapes, highlight Southern New England's unique Coastal micro-climates from Mystic to Westerly. Simply put, savor a taste of New England with wines to warm the heart.
Our Land and Vineyards
Nestled in Coastal New England, Maugle Sierra Vineyards is dedicated to producing premium Connecticut and New England grown wines. With 11 acres in grape production, it is a must see for visitors. Come to the winery; enjoy wine tastings, purchase wine by the glass, bottle or case. Picnicking with friends on our wine patio or Rendezvous overlook is encouraged with wine purchase.

Nestled in Coastal New England, Maugle Sierra Vineyards is dedicated to producing premium Connecticut and New England grown wines. Dr. Maugle, co-founder and winemaker, is known for his chewy, jammy and intensively fruit forward wines. In 2006, we opened our winery to the public specializing in our Estate St. Croix Wine and our dessert wine “Espíritu de St. Croix” as well as other fine hand-crafted wines. Presently there are 12 wines including several dessert wines to enjoy.
