It was just a dream a decade ago, based on fond memories of a childhood spent picking grapes at my grandfather’s vineyard. By 2005, that dream had been fully researched and land was being prepared to see it out. Then four years ago, the first vines were planted and Meyer Farms officially had a vineyard. Three years later, we had our first mature crop. We worked our magic, the names and labels were designed, we found a distributor, and all that was left was government approval. Seven months later, we had the official stamp of approval, and Meyer Farms was in business.
