Monkey Face Vineyard, overseen by master winegrower Kerry Damon, is one of Central Oregon's first vineyards. Growing several French-American hybrid varietals specifically selected for the Central Oregon terroir and climate, the vineyard has in the past supplied grapes for several local winemakers. This year, the vineyard plans to keep its harvest of approximately 8 tons of grapes to create and bottle wine exclusively under the Monkey Face label.
From spring pruning through the autumn harvest, homeowners are always welcome to get involved with the vineyard or just sit back and enjoy the final product while our local farmers do the work. This is one of the few communities in the country where you can experience the pure joy of living next to a working vineyard, and perhaps the only that let's you join in the fun as much or as little as you like.
