After many years in the corporate world living on three continents we “retired” to our original home in Oregon in the middle of the Willamette Valley in 2007. We launched Monte Ferro in 2009 and are focused on the production of small quantities of well-made cool climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Oregon vineyards and full bodied Syrah from the warmer Columbia River Valley of Washington. It is our desire to marry the best fruit selected for “terroir” and sound agricultural practices with the skill of the best winemakers in Oregon to produce world class wines.
