Mount Baker Vineyards, Inc. was founded by a retired surgeon who planted over 50 varietals to find out wnat would grow in the Puget Sound area. Randy Finley came on the scene in 1991. Through his stewardship the varietals have been pared down to the six we feature here. In addition, the winery produces consistent, award-winning wines from grapes sourced from Washington's Yakima Valley. Not only has Randy brought the winery to its current stature as a well-established Northwest winery, but he has broken the ground for a burgeoning Puget Sound Appelation with world-class, locaTwinemaking from the unhurried world-away of the Mount Baker Foothills.
