Nestled in the heart of the endless mountains, Pickering Winery is located on Route 187, 5 mile north of Wysox, 1 mile south of Rome, Pennsylvania. Established in December 2003, by Jim and Mary Pickering, husband and wife, they own and operate the wine business from their home. The entire wine making process takes place on their premises. They have come this far with the help of their family and friends. With the business increasing the winery business has been expanded to include the Orangeville Location, which opened in September 2013, located between Orangeville and Lightstreet right on Route 487, It is managed by Lanny & Susan Sheehan.
