Shadow Ranch is located on a picturesque hilltop in the heart of the Fair Play American Viticultural Area (AVA). The seven acres of vineyards at Shadow Ranch are planted to Sauvignon Blanc, Tempranillo, Petite Sirah and Grenache. All of the vineyards are being farmed organically and will be available for certification soon. The vineyards are planted in the fine-grained, well drained, decomposed granite which is common in the Fair Play region.
We invite you to visit us at Shadow Ranch, in the heart of the Fair Play wine country in El Dorado County, for tours and tastings Friday through Sunday, Discover a new favorite wine and make new friends in our wine tasting room and boutique, where you can also purchase our latest Zinfandel, Syrah, and an array of small lot, limited quantity exclusive wines sold only in the tasting room. During your visit, you're welcome to linger and enjoy the beauty of Fair Play with a leisurely picnic in the shade of our majestic oak trees, or enjoy your wine at the picnic tables on our Tasting Room Terrace..
