About Us:

Sweet Home Carolina is a small boutique style vineyard & winery. The only grape we grown on premise is Diamond, a white hybrid form the north. The rest of our grapes and fruits, we source from other vineyards and orchards. Why?  We are growing older and as we age, we seem to be growing wiser, recognizing our limitations as well as our strengths.  Farming is for those younger and healthier than we are.

Sweet Home Carolina has its own winery, fully equipped and with crush pad, laboratory, fermentation room, and climate-controlled barrel room. Our winemaker is one of the owners and has been making wine for 12 years. She is self-taught  and very creative with many award-winning wines to show for her efforts She is also our resident artist, designing all the labels for our wines, many of which are her own original artwork. Others are designed from photographs taken by various family members. As you look around the Tasting Room, you will see her painting as well as others.
