Wolf Mountain Vineyards And Winery

180 Wolf Mountain Trail

Our pastoral hillside vineyards, fieldstone-encased winery and hospitality facilities overlook the foothills of the Southern Appalachian Mountains. The Vineyard and Winery provides the perfect setting for the enjoyment of our award-winning handcrafted wines, Vineyard Weddings, Sunday Brunch, Cafe Lunch and Gourmet Dinners.

Wolf Mountain Vineyards was established in 1999, with the preparation of our 30 acre estate for grape growing. In 2000, the vines were planted by hand and the winery construction began. We finished construction of the now 10,000 square foot gravity flow winery in spring of 2001. Our first vintage of approximately 1000 cases was produced that fall, using locally grown fruit.

We opened to the public in early spring of 2003, selling out of our first vintage in only eight months. Our first harvest at Wolf Mountain was the fall of 2002, with our wine production reaching 2000 cases. During our second season we expanded our program of events and sold out of our 2002 vintage. Our focus is to make the highest quality Georgia wines possible. As a result of our labor intensive protocols, our production will remain limited. With the support of our loyal patrons, we have exceeded a 5000 case annual production.Come by the winery soon to taste the difference, you won't want to miss this year's vintage or our exciting events.

Our Vision:

To create a lifestyle at Wolf Mountain Vineyards and Winery that offers our family, friends, and guests the highest-possible quality wine and food experiences.

To create a limited number of handcrafted Georgia wines enjoyed at unique events designed to broaden one's knowledge and appreciation of the culinary arts and the marriage of wine and food.

Good wine in a gorgeous setting. The vineyard itself is set on a idyllic mountainside with a sweeping panorama of the southern Appalachians. The wine is quite good, but I wish they had more red options. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Best mountain views of all north GA wineries. Nice tasting - 6 wines for $16, decent pours. The pizza was incredible! Beautiful compound with wedding venues, multi-level decks, restaurant, gift shop, etc. Very well-maintained landscaping. Constantly rotating selection of small batch production. Make sure you have good brakes when coming here - steep grades for getting to/around this place.

Wolf Mountain is by far my favorite Georgia winery. Perhaps it’s because of the spectular views and the wine is great too. Sunday brunch is always different and so very delish.

Great vineyard and excellent tour. The tour was not over exhausting while still very informative and being able to taste several wines was ideal when deciding which bottle to purchase. The Realestate is beautiful in the foothillls of the Appalachians, and the views are worth the long drive to get in. We got a flatbread pizza which was delicious and the place was busy but not overcrowded. It was a wonderful getaway and would love to revisit soon!

I took some out-of-town guests here for lunch recently. The experience was way above my expectations and well worth trying. The view from the restaurant is terrific. We shared the 6-wine tasting flight first which was excellent. Our lunch server, Leslie, was a lot of fun. Everything we ate was terrific and a little unusual. We voted the Duck BBQ and Duck Prosciutto Pizza as the day’s winners. It was a terrific experience and a good value.
