Established in 1983 by Denis Burger and Elaine McCall, Yamhill Valley Vineyards is the oldest winery in the McMinnville AVA. Â The McMinnville AVA has something unique to offer and stands apart from the other AVA's in Oregon. Â If you are looking for a Pinot Noir that packs a little more punch than your typical strawberries and earth - you have come to the right place. Â We are located just off Highway 18, it's the perfect place to stop on your way to or from the coast, or just as a day trip from Portland or Salem metro area.
We have over 100 acres of vineyard, do everything from growing to bottling on site, and that is what makes us a great value as well as having old fashioned quality. Â We work to make constant improvements, and you never know what might be changing next so come and visit our friendly staff for a tasting ($5 for the normal flight and an additional $10 for our premier Tall Poppy Pinot Noir and a taste of Mondillo - our sister winery in the southern hemisphere).
